My Captured Moment #8 – Fun With Ducks

There are so many gorgeous National Trust places in the near vicinity of where we live and we are slowing trying to discover all of them. Last weekend we went to Sheffield Park Garden and spent such a beautiful morning there. This National Trust Property is a wonderfully kept garden area that also includes a few stunning lakes. We were really lucky with the weather as it was a hot and sunny day (one of the rarer ones this summer…). Our little girl was overjoyed by the ducks, especially as they kept following her. She didn’t tire of this game, but squealed with delight whenever we encountered a new group of ducks on our walk.

I am linking this post with the lovely Heledd from Running in Lavender for #MyCapturedMoment.

Running in Lavender

  1. Ah, that is so adorable. I love ducks and they, more often than not, seem a friendly bunch. 🙂

    • She loved it so much. I thought she might be a bit afraid of them at first, but no – she was completely fearless 🙂

  2. As weird as it sounds I always think there’s something a little bit magical about ducks the just seem to instantly transport me back to childhood……is that just me? #mycapturedmoments

    • Haha – no, just not you. They remind me of my childhood too. My favourite children’s song is about ducks 🙂

  3. What a perfect captured moment, kids are soo sweet and innocent. They seem to love animals. The look on your little one’s face in this picture as she is followed by the duck is just beautiful. Great picture.

I am a fellow 30plusblogs woman and just wanted to say hello.
