Welcome back to Talk of the Town, a weekly link-up I am co-hosting with Shaz from Jera’s Jamboree. We’d love you to share your book related blog posts with us.  Please visit my Talk of the Town page if you are unsure of how a link-up works. We are looking forward to reading your blog posts.

From next week onwards, I’ll be back with book reviews, books news etc. I just needed a little time away from the blog to fully concentrate on our newborn baby and to get into a routine as a family of four. This week was the first week my husband returned back to work after his paternity leave. Admittably, I had dreaded this time as it meant the school run was entirely my responsibiliy. How would I be able to get our 4 year old, our baby and myself ready on time for school? However, I am proud to report, we managed just fine. No, we did not have an awful lot of time in the mornings and on one of the days our daughter made it to school with minutes to spare, but we were never late :-). With a baby that likes to sleep during the day and party all night, I am pretty sleep-deprived. I really struggle to sleep during the day, but this week, I managed to make a start on a new book.

TALK OF THE TOWN is sponsored by Black and White Publishing who kindly support a monthly giveaway. Everyone who tweets with the hashtag #ToTT will be entered into this giveaway for either a single book or a book bundle.   The giveaway might be paperback (UK/ROI) or digital (UK/ROI/INTL).  The winner will be randomly selected using Tweetdraw and books will be sent directly from Black & White Publishing. If you are sharing my weekly post please include @bwpublishing if possible. Thank you :-).

  1. That’s a big adjustment but it sounds like you have it well in hand! 🙂 Hope next week goes as well. And as always thanks for the link-up! Have a great week.

  2. Great news Heidi (coping with the school run etc). We always somehow manage things as parents don’t we 🙂

Hope reading is relaxing you …

    • We are, aren’t we :-). Yes, reading is great! I didn’t really fancy reading towards the end of my pregnancy, but really enjoy it now again!
